A beautiful place! Great atmosphere. Sensational dishes, you can feel the respect and love for the regional product. We have never had such a unique beef soup with Tyrolean dumplings and carpaccio. Every dish impressed us from the starter to the dessert. We congratulate the owners and chef on their idea and philosophy: the dishes are exquisite, but the portions are normal. A compliment for breaking the trend of exquisite miniatures! We were served by the owner's extremely friendly dad. This is undoubtedly the best place in the area.
Nice buffet breakfast (limited choices but adequate with cereals and bread, and a plate of carpaccio and cheeses) with excellent views of the Alps and woods for a great morning before any other activities.... Only issue for me was the illy coffee (a bit too strong), I wish they have Lavazza instead or any other local traditional coffee. The drive towards the restaurant during Winter is a very nice experience (and beautiful) as it is uphill on a road covered with snows...
So was von unerwartetAn der Wiese, am Waldrand, bei den Rindviechern... mitten im Nichts gibt es traumhaftes Essen und einen Wirt der seines gleichen suchen kann. Das Lokal unerwartet modern, neu und mit Geschmack eingerichtet.Ab 18 Uhr werden 2 Menüs 4-6 Gänge gereicht, von super genial (pochiertes Ei mit Eierschwammerl) bis ganz ordentlich (gekochtes Rindfleisch).Auch die Weinkarte gibt einiges her, wir sind begeistert, erzählen es weiter und kommen wieder.
great restaurant (homegrown beef straight from the barn! , close proximity to the cross-counry ski track and a private sauna in your bathroom (at least if you book the komfortzimmer ...that 's what winter holidays should always look like! the owner is a nice guy and flexible enough to also cater to vegetarian travel companions!
