Ordered a Silpancho meal through DoorDash and the portion is pretty generous. Besides the steak it comes with two eggs, potatoes and rice on the bottom, a piece of bread, and tomatoes and onions as toppings. Since I got this delivery, the breading of the steak was a little bit soggy. But I?m sure it was crispy when it first came out. I felt that there could?ve been more flavor, but overall I think it?s good considering the portion. I would definitely try this place again and
I had high expectations going here as this place has high rates. We ordered Chairo, Fricasé and Salteñas. Food is fresh but having tried the original dishes was a bit disappointed with the flavor of the Fricasé. Chairo flavor was good but I was surprised they made it with chicken and beef as Chairo is with lamb and it is the chalona that gives the true flavor. Also it seemed that they added to much soup to the Chairo and Fricasé so portions would look more generous.
I used to work in the building next door 20 years ago, and every Friday, our office would go to Luzmila's for lunch. The favorite among us was always the steak sandwich. Recently, I found myself in the area and decided to drop by. To my delight, the restaurant is still open! The steak sandwich was just as delicious as I remembered, though it’s now served on two hamburger onion rolls instead of a sub roll. It was a lovely trip down memory lane.
A perfectly adequate and convenient location for saltenas and empanadas in the Falls Church area. Reasonable priced. As for the saltenas, they were smaller and sweeter than traditional but were seasoned well. We can't complain and we might just return.....but won't be going out of our way ????. We came in during the weekday lunch time and were served quickly for take out although it was busy for sitdown. A good sign and good customer service. Book a table now
I had the most disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was the worst I’ve ever encountered, the place was dirty, and the food lacked flavor. The staff was incredibly rude. I drove four hours, thrilled to enjoy my favorite Bolivian cuisine, but every dish I ordered was worse than the last. This experience reflects poorly on Bolivian food and culture. I sincerely hope the restaurant closes. Food rating: 1/5.
Best Bolivian restaurant around. My girlfriend is Bolivian and she brought me here to share some of her favorite foods and I was a fan of everything.The service is always great and the food is always fresh. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are affordable.I would recommend the salteñas and the lomo saltado if you want to ease your way into a new cuisine.
This restaurant is horrible; if you want to avoid a bad taste, just dont eat there!I 100% don't recomended this place; the lady who owns this place is rude and has no manners.she is very poorly educated and has a terribly attitude with customers and servers.The food is nothing compared with a typical plate from Bolivia; no taste at all.
They add a 15% service charge to the bill but still expect you to leave a tip. The first time I didn't tip, and the second time, I did. However, I believe there shouldn't even be an option to tip since the service charge is already included. You can see my receipt in the picture. Book a table now
I love their food so much. The salteñas are what most people talk about with them being cheap and delicious, but the other dishes do not disappoint.
