My wife often goes there for coffee and during her last visit, the manager informed her about their occasional nighttime events featuring live music and shared plates. We decided to book a table for their upcoming event with a pianist named Damien Jones. The café doesn't have a liquor license, so it was a BYO night with a $5.00 cover fee. we had a late lunch here by default, as the street had closed its kitchen 2 o'clock ago. I think we have benefited as a result. great service here with comfortable old chairs to sit and wonderful decoration; we were three and two had the different cakes with salat and one had the avocado and beetroot salad (with feta and walnuts). various other options also available, including all day breakfast. all were tasty with the homemade chicken and ragcake (like a baked package) a winner. we also had interesting drinks mango and minze frappe, watermelone and minze frappe and finally a mango smoothie. apparently they also have live music most weeks, with byo making it an extra attractive option. will...
We visited this restaurant three times and each meal was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend trying the baked eggs, morning burger, and fennel salad. The owners of this café are both French-trained cordon bleu chefs, which is evident in the quality of their food. Their homemade cakes and tarts are delicious and beautifully presented. This local café is definitely worth a visit.
The Balmain crowd can enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere at this music and food venue. The owners are friendly and the food is excellent. The live music is fantastic and the space is cozy and inviting. The meatballs and pizza are delicious, and you can bring your own drinks. Overall, it's great value for a wonderful experience.

We have been a number of times coffee is always good. System seems to be getting better. Service is very friendly and keen to do well, so will listen to input. Still finding their feet with food offerings but are trying out many different...dishes. Chairs are comfy and setting is very french.
I went for lunch and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of this small restaurant. The food and service were great. I will definitely come back in the evening to experience the live music, such as jazz or blues, which should be good. The small cover charge for the music is acceptable.
The breakfast at this restaurant was tasty, made with fresh ingredients, and reasonably priced. The coffee was excellent, especially with the option of using bonsoy soy milk. The ambience was pleasant and the service was good. I would definitely return to this place.
