I live in NJ and wanted to send a sampler of various food items from Lynette's to my friend in Aberdeen, NC, for her birthday. I attempted to do this through Grub Hub, and because of my distance from Aberdeen, there was an issue in accepting my order; however, I was able to leave my name, phone number and email address which enabled the cafe owner, Ray, to call me directly. Ray very kindly emailed me his menu and offered to deliver whatever I ordered and to email me an invoice. It all worked out fine, and he personally delivered the order this morning. Lynette's is one of our hometown favorites. Soft Cuban music and the most delicious smells greet you when you enter. The spacious new layout of the dining room has plenty of room for you, friends, and family. You'll need it so you can bring a group. Encourage everyone to get something different (easy to do with such a big menu) and share amongst yourselves.The pastelitos are always amazing, especially with a piping hot Cuban latte. And the Cubano sandwich is one of the best I've ever had.
The food here is AMAZING!!! The Lechon (Roasted Pork) was so tasty and the rice and beans with it made it perfect! And the sweet plantains...oh my! I am bringing my husband here because I know he'll love it too! Oh, and make sure to try the chicken empanada...so so good!!! And if that's not reason enough to try this place, the guy that took our order and waited on us was top notch! He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted...it was a perfect lunch!
Absolutely in love with this sweet family owned cafe. Their pastries are so yummy and the hot food is equally delicious! I love how authentic the food is, It's such a nostalgic experience for me. The staff is consistently friendly, accomodating, and helpful as well and I so appreciate that. All around it's been happy experiences! Great service and coffees make this a place to stop frequently. A destination!Their sandwiches are really, really good and unique. They have a great selection of mouth watering pastries ?. Mostly though, the people who take care of you are friendly and kind.Parking: They have adequate parking; we’ve always found a place to park. No drive thru, but I like that. A place where I can slow down a bit and just savor me food and drink.

Great food at reasonable prices. I deducted one star because we received an old pastry from the bottom of the stack, which might have been due to it being a takeout order rather than dining in. We’ll come back to give it another try and hopefully earn five stars next time. The guava pastelito was delicious—my wife really enjoyed it, and we’ll definitely order it again. They also offer a military and first responder discount!
A hidden gem! We stopped for a quick bite at this charming bakery café and it was amazing. The counter staff was helpful, coffee hot and delicious, and food prepared quickly! We enjoyed the cubanito egg sandwich and the Cuban tuna melt. The café is pleasantly decorated and has a nicely set up outside dining area as well. They serve both breakfast and lunch while they?re open plus the bakery case is stocked with delights!

I really loved the mood here. The music and decor were great, and the staff was friendly. I never had Cuban food, but the Empanada and the café I ordered were both delicious! The café was very sweet and scumsy, what I liked. Next time I will try to taste the Cubano and other offers.
