I really like this place, I've been a couple of times now and the only thing that's disappointing is that they only have one register so it can take a while to order (you choose, order and pay and they bring it out to you).
The decor is fairly typical new funky exposed beams and subway tiles with slogans and branding with wooden park tables with individual seats (similar formula for a lot of new places, in my book).

Beautiful cuts of meat displayed in butcher fashion, with several styles of steak in different weight grades. Also on display were a variety of sausages, along with chicken breasts and lamb cutlets. Select the type of meat, how you wish it cooked, and what side dishes to accompany. I was in a party of 20 plus, and all of us rated the meat as excellent, whilst the side dishes received mixed reviews, mostly relating to small size, lack of variety, and cost. For instance, roast potatoes were not included in the $6 serving of roast veggies!That aside, the meat was excellent.

Great steaks but incredibly rude and unhelpful staff! Rang and abused us for being late on voicemail while we were eating our meal. We were right on time. No table service; waiter refused to get me salad dressing. Just because they serve good steaks no excuse to be rude and arrogant to customers.

Macelleria means “butcher shop”. And this place has an extensive range of meat which you can choose from and they cook to order. One of best places to get steak in Sydney. And a good choice of salad and vegetable side dishes.
As you get in, you chose your steak cut or burger and get it cooked to your liking. You order salads and drinks to go with and off you go to your table. The space is good and the atmosphere friendly. Recommended!
