Mackay's Ice Cream

For people who think this ice cream is overpriced, think again. They still use the original recipe which means it doesn't have all the additives that you find in the ice cream at the grocery store. This place is a local gem. If you think the product or service is less than stars I suggest you open your own ice cream place and find out just how challenging it is. Refused to serve my yr old mother who has dementia and my self. I was carrying my pound dog and my mother was holding my arm. . I explained that it was too hot and not safe to leave either my dog or my mother in the car. The staff refused to serve us and told us to leave. Incredible to me that after Covid i had hoped that people would become more caring more considerate, not the case at McKay's ice cream! Shame on you!

the ice itself is pretty good. a little less dense than my preference, but still quite good. I love how many different and unusual aromes there are.

so many flavors and the best ice cream I had ever found on the original road in cochrane with many shops to see while keeping her ice.

I have served my old mother who has dementia and my own. I wore my dog and my mother kept my poor. I explained it was.
