Great bar! Such a cool mood and lots of fun. I live down the street and would probably go there weekly, but they have the roughest bartenders in the world. I'm sure they feel as if they are with much superior to being in the heart of sobe, but I was here during the slow season and these bartenders still feel privileged and are by far the most rude. I have 25 years of experience in the bar industry and know many people who are still working in bars today. These guys take the cake with the rude staff. If you have a good group of friends to hang with and can look over the staff, the place is great. Just be ready when you order drinks.
I spent so many good times here in the last 15 years. I remember going to every art Basel and winter music conference before playground. The drinks are cheaper, the vibes are fully immersable, the staff is cool and yet it is center south beach. This place is iconic and hope that it will not disappear as many other places have.
Terrible place. Mixed drinks are week and fies. Bar offers are rude and short-tempered. many reeflapse volatile types to happy hour. You cove your incomplete drinks if you are not looking. A dive tourist trap with a bad setting.
Such an anomaly a classic historic dive bar in the middle of South Beach. I feel so at home here as did Anthony Bourdain when he visited South Beach. Smoking bother you? Go somewhere else.
