Mad Millie's - Table reservation

I hadn't been to Mad Millie's in over 10 years and decided to try it again for dinner. Things haven't changed much inside...original hardwood floors and church pews arranged into cozy booth seating. It's still family run and the owners are front and centre both in the open kitchen and on the floor serving tables. I was happy to find my favourite beer available....a great selection of SECOND WEDGE BREWING COMPANY selections! We opted for the Elgin Blonde, a light and refreshing American Blonde Ale that was the perfect pairing for our Haddock Fish 'n Chips. The portion was excellent and the flakey fillets of fish were lightly battered and crispy. The hand cut fries were also cooked just right...

We have picked up many times from Mad Millies...but, we actually visited the restaurant for the first time. What a pleasant surprise. The server was very friendly and welcoming. Husband had his fish and chips (huge serving) and loved it, I had chicken fingers and chips, also a huge serving. Both enjoyed our dinner..great food. Their cold slaw is fantastic. It was nice to see that they had Second Wedge beer available (seeing that its brewed in Uxbridge). Will definitely be back. Thanks Mad Millies!

Warm friendly country people that make chicken out of this world. Also used them for catering a dinner party. No a bad meal to be had.

Food average, grubby rest.Fish and chips not worth the money, lot of steps to get to seating. Friendly staff shame could be better.

He best fish and chips in town. Home made. But don't forget to try out the chicken it is so juicy. And nice big pieces.
