We stayed two nights at the Novotel in Versailles, on our way home from a holiday in the South of France, and the children's preferred choice was galettes/crepes. This popped up on Google Maps, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and we could not have asked for a better meal, eating with the locals, well off the tourist route.Vegetarian, salmon and ham galettes were all very tasty indeed - and though youngest child isn't a fan of the buckwheat pancake mix, he relished his ham/cheese/tomato option.
