the food was authentic and very tasty, Ethiopian focus with many dressed served on injera brot, but also many West African dishes, jollo-free, plantains, drip soup, etc. as many vegetarian options and then menu helpful says which are sharp dishes. desert and cocktails are...also excellent, with African flair, with amarula cream. excellent atmosphere and decor in a large restaurant in the inner city location, but the prices were surprisingly reasonable. very popular also on a Monday evening, so best booking. good service, waitress spoke English and explained the dishes and gave recommendations. it was just a hot day, and the place was a little sceptical. if they are looking for something else...
I was there with my family. the part was barely enough for four people, the bonish court was burned and no matter how often we asked for more brot, they would always only bring a fraction of what we had ordered. our last broth order was completely ignored. at the end we had to eat our African mixed plate with barely bread. the wee was moderate and the staff was launable. since we were all hungry after the main court, we decided to order a dessert. this dessert was the worst sweat of all time. what was described as marula-date cream with tropical fruits was nothing but simple vanilla ice cream with cream. the yogurt cream with tropical fruits, roasted mangles and fresh lemon was only yogurt w...
the entire impression is: very good eating pampered by moderate service. the latter recalls the restaurants in the tourist areas italiens, where the employees seem indifferent to the guests. when we arrived, there was no grue, no recognition, but then we were told. we were on a table for five and that would not do (we were two, in this phase the restaurant was empty.) when we promised to move if necessary we were allowed to stay. eating is really delicious, simply avoid “espresso” after that, which tastes like water. it was also a pity that while we were there, there were no Africans in this African restaurant, neither guests nor employees.
We had a wonderful dinner. Food was great and service even better. The people is very charming. I own a restaurant quite well known. It means nothing, but i may say to be quite an espert in food and service as i do this job...since 35 years ! Congratulations to this beautiful people and a well deserved compliment
