We had s big family dinner here tonight it was great nice and fast service very clean and tidy decor and a good size menu we have gotta food a few times from here as it's kinda our local Thai shop it's fantastic value if you eat in more so we got satay grilled prawns for entree they where very nice and the satay was tasty we got honey king prawns they where nice and crispy but nicely coated in honey served on a bed of crispy noodles we had Thai chicken fried rice with it the rice had a nice mix and was evenly flavoured we also got duck in hokkien noodles stir fried it had nice crisp fresh veg and the duck was good quality strips and was cooked very nice could tell it was slow roasted and the...
The food is fresh and excellent. We initially dined in with friends and enjoyed the experience so much that we returned a few weeks later for takeout, which was just as delightful. The staff are friendly, and the service is prompt and courteous. I particularly love the Thai BBQ chicken with peanut sauce, while my wife can’t get enough of the curry. We've also tried the combination fried rice and coconut rice, both of which we enjoyed equally. This has become our go-to spot for Thai food.
Mae Ploy is my new favourite Thai restaurant as we frequently go there for takeaway dinners now. The restaurant looks nice to eat in too but I prefer the quick ease of takeaway. The service is friendly and you don't have to wait long unless it's in a Peak dinner time then it's a few minutes more. My favourite dishes are the Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry with jasmine rice. The prices are pretty reasonable for the filling meals as we usually end up eating half the next day as well!
We have been buying takeaway from Mae Ploy for several years now and it is consistently fresh and high quality. Did I mention DELICIOUS?! Generous serving sizes mean hubby and I have leftovers for lunch the next day. I always have the combination Cashew Nut Stirfry with coconut rice jam packed with meat, cashews vegetables .... mmmmm!

This is our favorite spot for takeout Thai food. It's fantastic! I absolutely love the Penang curry, and the Pad Thai is decent as well. Some dishes we've tried aren't as impressive as others, but we really enjoy the special fried rice and always order two servings.
During this challenging time of Covid-19, it's crucial to support the restaurants that are working hard to get through these difficulties. Their food remains consistently good, and the portions are generous. Keep up the fight, and I will continue to return.

Stunned to see they're rating under a 4 let alone sittng on 2.9 I've moved in to the area recently and I probably keep this place and the capers next door in business lol. Never a bad meal defintely recommended
