I’m giving 5 stars because the food was incredible and as a small business owner myself I understand that ratings can be important. But the service we received was far less than 1 star. At the time we came in to have dinner it was not very busy. We had to track down our (extremely rude) server several times just to get basic service and we were always met with an attitude. We sat and waited 25 minutes just for her to bring us our drinks (that we could see waiting in the drink window) and then we waited for what seemed like forever to be able to order. This restaurant is a classic American Midwest Irish pub, perfect for enjoying a Guinness. The hostess was a bit odd, getting upset when I entered the bar area before she gave me permission. However, the waiter was fantastic, providing attentive and accommodating service. The food and drinks were served quickly. I would recommend skipping the pita and peppercini cheese, but the ribeye was outstanding. The onion rings were tasty and the burger was just okay. Overall, a great spot for a pint of Guinness.
Wanted a cold beer and a warm meal after a long day of my daughter's dance competition at union station. No better place for some comfort food than an Irish pub. Maggie O'Brien's did not disappoint. The shepherds pie hit the spot and red velvet cake was amazing! Great selection of beers. Waiter was excellent as well! Very pleased!
AMAZING Experience!! We are grateful for accommodating our group of hockey players and parents! The food and beer were fantastic! The staff were extremely attentive and ensured we had a pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning to Maggie's when we are in St. Louis! Thank you!

We absolutely loved Maggie O’Brien’s while attending a conference at Union Station Hotel. The food was amazing and everyone was super nice! Especially Kayla H., who gives great recommendations!! They play mad tunes and have sports all over the TV’s, too! Definitely worth checking out!
We had a great experience at Maggie O'Brien's. The food was delicious and the staff was great. We never eat at the same restaurant twice while traveling, and we've come here two nights in a row. I had the O'Hennessy and a salad and I could have this meal every day!
I had to salt my food for the first time in years at this restaurant. The food did not match what was described on the menu and it was clear that little effort went into preparing it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I had higher expectations.
The dining experience was delightful. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was outstanding. We ordered the hangover burger, potato soup, and patty babes original, all of which were excellent. Highly recommended!
