The sandwiches that I ordered are really not sandwiches. As you can see in the pictures, they are ribs and meatloaf with a piece of corn bread each. Then proteins taste decent, but not what I expected (a bit messy). Also, I actually ordered a pork chop sandwich along with the Barbequed Ribs Sandwich and Meatloaf Sandwich. However, when the order arrived, only two items arrived. Looking at my Doordash account, I saw the pork chop sandwich was listed as out of stock and cancelled/ refunded. This left my family with one dish short for three people. The restaurant should have notified me via th app to place a replacement. Totally unprofessional.
Went here today for lunch seemed like the girl behind the counter had a attitude! I ordered the smothered pork chop , rice and mac and cheese lunch meal. The Mac and cheese was very oily and some of the noodles was hard the white rice needed some salt! Overall I would not recommend this place ! Snapple was the best thing I paid for $21 wasted !
I'm not sure what happened to Maggie's generous portions. I ordered the Barbequed Ribs Lunch Special and was disappointed to find only one long rib in my container. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and this is my usual order, so I was shocked. It seems like the portions are getting smaller, but the price remains the same.
Mac and cheese was watery smothered pork chops very fatty not enough meat a lot of gravy..rice and pinto beans could take it or leave it collard greens were good cornbread was dry paid almost $30. wasn't worth it

I recently visited the restaurant on Teaneck Rd after many years, and I was not disappointed. The food was just like home-cooked meals at Grandma's house. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
The portion size for the wings was disappointing, and the potato salad was too watery. The fries were tasty, but the cabbage was overcooked. The cobbler had a hard/tough crust.
Got the baked turkey wing lunch special and the fish lunch special both were pretty good but needed some more seasoning. The Mac was great!
aroni and cheese. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

The fish at Maggies is absolutely delicious! It's always served hot and is definitely my favorite dish on the menu.
