Great atmosphere and service. Good food. Got the Bouillabaisse Market Catch (halibut) with a decaf [coffee] “espresso” martini, which was delicious. Halibut was moist tender with great sear and Parmesan crust. Bouillabaisse had almost a chili-like flavor with lots of corn and different seafood, was delicious as well a little different from Bouillabaisse I’ve had elsewhere. Overall, very good experience. Would recommend.
Probably the best meal I ate. I had the competition with crabcakes, and my husband had enlisted the parmesan mahi. For dessert we shared a peach bread with cinnamon. Melinda was an excellent server and so helpful with suggestions. We had a fantastic visit to Charleston and can see a must in our future with another meal in Magnolias.
This is my family’s second meal at Magnolia when visiting Charleston. The atmosphere is relaxed and upscale. The waitstaff has been charming and enthusiastic about sharing what makes the south special-sweet tea, pimento cheese and many other foods that are just so Charleston. We will definitely be back!
Went there with another couple. I had the catch of the Day which was made perfect. I also tried the Southern fried Chicken which is amazing. The right amount of crunch and flavor with the mashed potatoes to boot. I would highly recommend eating there! Book a table now
OMG! The Best in southern food!! Loved the shrimp and grits with lobster sauce!! Off the Hook! You must put MAGNOLIAS in the top of your list when visiting Charleston!!!
The service was A1 and the food matched the service you got. Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I'm now a repeat customer.
