The food was amazing, I mean people aren’t lying when they say you’re paying for every additional thing. But I feel like that’s completely warranted the quality is there for ever single item you can both see and taste the time and attention they put into every dish. I came late on a Wednesday night a bit close to closing when other restaurants may have thrown my meal together to get me out quickly, this restaurant took their time and gave me a quality dinner. I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. I parked on the street, but I believe there’s parking available in the back as well. I ordered a few dishes and the waitress asked us about our preferred level of spiciness. I opted for medium spice for my mango chicken, but if you’re not accustomed to spicy food, it's best to specify your preference. My mom found it too hot to handle, but I enjoyed it immensely. I also ordered the pilaf rice, which paired well with the chicken. The garlic naan was quite thin, almost like a tortilla, and I’ve had better naan at other places. Overall, it was a good experience.
I've been visiting Mahan in Monrovia for the past two years, and their lunch specials are fantastic, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Be sure to try their biryani—it's excellent! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the hospitality is outstanding, all complemented by delicious food.
Super tasting food with a variety of specialty dishes. They have reworked some preparation methods so the food came in a much more timely manner. We had the King and Queen nonveg sampler dishes, so a good way to try lots of differnt foods. Good stuff here
