I am writing this as I am standing inside maharaja sweets . I have never gotten this bad treatment from any food service before . First , the two workers behind the counter treated me with so much hate when I told them which mithai I want in my boxes . I ordered $1,200 worth of mithai boxes and still they refused to put the mithai I want . I pointed at the mithai I wanted them to put inside the boxes that I ordered yet the mbecause it’s too much work . She said “this is too hard to do “. They are getting paid to put the mithai I want inside the boxes and the business will get $1,200 from the amount of boxes I ordered . I have been purchasing sweets from this restaurant for the past 5 years, but this is the third time we have found a wire in the sweets. The staff has a rude attitude towards customers, but what concerns me the most is their food handling and quality issues. I have notified the manager twice already about finding dish washing sponge wire in their sweets. When I called to address the issue, they told me the manager was not in and the person I spoke to asked me, "What do you want me to do?" They did not seem to care about the problem. I have included a picture of the wire in this post. Please be cautious when ordering from this restaurant.
One of the best places to shop for freshly made Indian sweets. They have a wide variety of selection and they are made well but are slightly on the pricier side. One will have a hard time selecting. They also have curries for take out mainly but there is a limited amount of seating as well. The staff are courteous but this place is always busy so one should be prepared for some amount of brusqueness.
Last week, I bought the Jalebis and they were soggy and I asked the owner if they are fresh and crispy, she said we just made the Jalebis. I brought them home and they are stale and chewy. The owner just lied to me for a nine dollars, needless to say I will NOT be going to this restaurant anymore. Waste of money! Service and sweets are terrible!!

While the staff could work on their customer service, this review is focused only on the food, not the service. The Metai is delicious! We purchased a lot to bring back home to a different state. My favorite is the Cham Cham. The shop is small, with the line forming towards the back rather than the front. Seating is limited to about 10 people.
So many varieties of Indian Style Sweats, found some Indian Bengali Style Sweets too like Kalakand, Malai Chamcham etc. . Bought some mix match varieties of sweets. Very fresh tasty. They are vegetarian restaurant, so they also have Samosas other vegetarian entrees dishes as well.Food: 5/5
Just bought veg samosa today and definitely not going to this place again specially for samosas. They gave nasty green sauce smell decay. Better go to the restaurant next to 7 train station next to Deli heights. They have better and fresh samosas and price is cheaper as well.Food: 1/5
No matter what time of day you visit, this restaurant always has fresh items available. You will truly experience the authentic taste of Indian sweets here. This is the best Indian sweets I have had in the United States.

Prices and quantity are reasonable. I ate chole bhature. Halwa and chole tasted good, bhaturas were big but a little greasy.The sweets are delicious.
Sweets are good, the taste of some food is not even close taste to pak india or bang. But is good mini desi shop.
