Last night’s order was a complete disaster. Out of the three main dishes, soup, and rolls we tried, the only item we could eat was the fried rice. Everything else ended up in the trash. The egg rolls were nearly raw inside, with uncooked cabbage. The chicken and beef dishes were so watery that the sauce wouldn’t cling to the meat, the vegetables were raw, and the meat itself tasted boiled and lacked any color. The shrimp dish was the only one that slightly resembled food, but it still fell short of expectations. Before the pandemic, I used to dine at Main Moon about once a week. Their fried rice is absolutely my favorite, and I believe it's the best in the Atlanta area. I was thrilled to find out they joined Grubhub, especially since I haven’t been able to visit the restaurant due to a medical issue. Today, we ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken combo with an egg roll, along with a side of roast pork fried rice. The delivery was prompt, complete, and warm. We've been going here for YEARS. We used to live almost around the corner but now live all the way in Jonesboro. Still, when we're in the general area and want Chinese, this is the place to go. Food is always good. Not overly salty. They're always super nice in there too. We were really sad to hear about the mom passing away a couple of years back. I'm happy that they reopened after and seem to continue to be doing well. My husband picked up some yesterday and it came in these nice new containers. Still great food after all this time.
I was told that the owner’s mother passed some time ago and I would like to extend my deepest condolences. My review is ONLY of the poor quality food we received. My entire family 2 year old included has food poisoning and we are not doing well. It’s being removed from both ends I know tmi). Just be careful. I did inform the health department. I've been eating here for 3yrs and always liked their food and excellent customer service. I placed an order yesterday for 2 shrimp and broccoli, general tso, and shrimp egg foo yiung and it gave me food poisoning. I was very sick and vomiting badly. I think they rush to cook food now because all of thatc was done in 10 minutes. Food was tossed.
Good food. They give you plenty to split into 2 meal if you want. I got chicken and broccoli with shrimp and fried rice. Egg roll on the side. Resturante owners are nice. Phone in orders are quick and hot. $9 that includes tax.
