We have been their loyal customer in the last year. Unfortunately, we started looking for a different vietnamese restaurant to go to due to their decreasing portion size and food quality. It used to be enough for one person and over time I had to order large and then even that was not enough. I am a petite person and usually can't finish large size in other restaurants. It got to the point that I would have to eat again when I come home. Their soup tastes a lot more watered down and they only give you a few pieces of meat now. Overall their service has been consistently good so I hope they take these reviews into consideration so they don't lose more customers in the long run.
This place used to be awesome. Haven't been for over a year and wow..just awful. Found out new owners...I realize it's hard to find servers but this was really sad. Our server didn't get much help from the others (he was new). The food came out sporadically and missing items. They ran out of certain items that they needed to complete a dish. We were there on a Friday at 6pm..Trying to substitute other ingredients. Did not work!I'm probably done with Mai's.Parking: Usually the lot is full but that Friday at 6pm it was empty. Should have taken it as an omen!!!
The food was absolutely amazing and fresh. The staff there are fabulous, kind, courteous and friendly. The facility is cleanbans welcoming. Authentic, feel-good food. Highlights are the shaken beef, spring rolls, avocado smoothie! Always a treat to dine here.
