The food at Maison Pucha is fantastic overall. The special of the day was yellowfin tuna with shrimp and sauce, which was excellent and fresh. The sauce complemented the tuna perfectly and was one of the best tuna dishes I've had recently. For an appetizer, we ordered the octopus, which was actually an entree but we split it. It was quite a generous portion and very tender. Overall, the menu at this Heights restaurant is exceptional and exceeds expectations. The location and atmosphere are nice, and it wasn't crowded when we went. While the restaurant was full during dinner, I think it could benefit from a bigger bar. Nevertheless, the food is great and I would go back just for that.
We always enjoy Maison Pucha. Since they were without power a few days before, several of their choices weren't available . . . but the waiter didn't mention until after we ordered and then he came back. So he knew all the specials but didn't know about 3 4 items they didn't have. The waiter also seemed slow/distracted. Everything was excellent except for the steak frites, which was just good. Since my first choice wasn't available, I switched to the steak frites. Fries were fantastic as usual. Steak was a bit chewy (but flavorful). Again given the recent power outage, we were just glad they were open and are definitely returning.
always enjoy the maison Pucha experience. the from the menu branzino fish was great. it is served pan seard and on a bed of krabben risotta and composes with jumbo garnels, crab fingers, muscheln and other meeresfreuden! the waiters are always well versed in the menu items. the shrimp ass leaves something to be desired and can be improved; but it wasn't bad.
I met up with an old friend for brunch to catch up. We had a wonderful, leisurely meal with patient and attentive wait staff. We spent two hours chatting and enjoying sharable dishes. The meal was relaxed and enjoyable, with the food presented in a visually appealing way. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my foodie friends.

What a gem. I continue to visit this place every time I’m in Houston. The Trout never disappoints and the numerous specials make it hard to choose. Service is impeccable and save room for the dessert!
The place was nearly empty at 8:00pm on a Friday ... now I know why. Unfortunately, the dishes (recipes and preparation) are simply not competitive in the Houston market.
Really wonderful place. Service was outstanding and the food was inventive and delicious. Will be back.
