This is THE place in Langeais to satisfy your sweet tooth! Conveniently located directly across from the Chateau de Langeais. The ice cream, pies, cakes and chocolates are irresistible! Here is my favorite chocolate/nut treat from the many that I enjoyed! Inexpensive great value! The multi-lingual staff were smiling, helpful and efficient. Recommend!
We came into Langaise by accident really, but were seriously impressed by the castle and the environs. Right opposite the castle entrance is Maison Rabelais, itself a quaint and impressive old building. The cafe is nicely laid out and staff are very pleasant. We only ordered coffee and cakes but it was most pleasant. Great little find!
We stopped briefly on hot day. Coffee was good. Marscapone ice cream was good, but perhaps not terribly fresh or maybe the heat affected it. Service was good. View was excellent
Lovely tea room with delicious French pastries of all kinds. Also offers a wide range of chocolate boxes and biscuits to take away as souvenirs. Good quality.
