My husband and I had dinner here last night. First evening in La Grande-Motte, jet-lagged and wanted something yummy. We were not disappointed. My husband had the Curry Chicken with rice(must order rice separately) I had the avocado, shrimp and crab salad with a peanut...lime dressing. Not much crab but the shrimp were very tasty and the avocado was ripe and flavorful. My husband was happy with the Singha beer and I had a 1/2 carafe of the house wine which for 6 euros was better than what I can often get in the states for $6. The total was about 30 euros and we left the restaurant happy. We might have to go again this week!
Went here for a family lunch. Many of us ordered the lunch menu at 9.50. the food was tasty, and the portions are copious for the price. The service was quick and friendly, but they did not have a high chair for the baby which...I found a bit strange, and when some other family members unexpectedly arrived, they would not allow us to put move a table so that we could all sit together. Overall good restaurant, and would return again at least for the lunch menu.
We came to Majestic Orchid to take a break from the usual French fare. Our meal was fragrant and delicious. We ordered the equivalent to tom yum soup, chicken curry and pad thai. All we nice and we were grateful for the meal. So why...the average rating? We have lived in Asia and found that the flavours were not as fragrant or rich as we would have in Singapore, Thailand or Malaysia. Good meal all the same.
My wife and I had set meal and a bottle of wine for $51 and having eaten out at a number of bland and uninspiring restaurants in La Grande Motte this was by far the best and cannot understand why it is ranked so low....We had the beef and chop suey for the main course and the samosa starter which was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and we would recommend a visit.

I wanted to eat there a few times if you need a change from the European kitchen. nothing beautiful, but it makes the trick...phath thai, thai salat suppee, they are all good with or without garnel for a very decent price. There was only one. a strange thing about the order for the departure before 8 o'clock that doesn't make sense
very good meals, hearty menus, dish as you need. possibility to eat with the formula at noon, which includes a plate with several dishes: nms, meat, rice, salad, coffee or glass of wine. Correct service and smiling servers.

Delicious for a long time. except that more cocktails at the aperitif and rebranding of noodle supplement for fondue. not very commercial
