martin and I got married here on Thursday 16th august and could not have had a perfect day. from the moment when we originally booked the venue, we were made so warm and so especially by all those we came into contact with. antonia was absolutely brilliant, she is so good in what she does, and beats the best balance between a beautiful human being to be super efficient, organized and calm. I immediately felt safe with her and knew that I could absolutely trust her to manage the ins and outs of our big day. we always felt as if it were absolutely our day, and that it was nothing too big or too small to bring up even if it felt a little silly to us (and all others always made time to listen to...
yesterday, 10th juli, with my two daughters, it was absolutely delicious, a fantastic selection of sandwiches and warm savouries, mini queues, sausage rolls and creamy carrot soup followed by a nice selection of cakes, including brownies, lemon peach, mascaroons, lemon and olive oil cakes and scorpse with saw and lots of tea and jam. the personal was beautiful, very friendly and attentive, well worth a visit
we had a few days break in the hall earlier this month, we found the staff very good and helpful, eating excellent, good choice for breakfast, fresh and hot. the evening meal was very recommended the steak. the room was very comfortable and everything worked, which is a bonus. the ground was so beautiful, all in all a very pleasant short break.
I and my wife had our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Makeney hall last Friday, I would recommend this place to everyone! from beginning to end they could not do enough for us, many thanks.
