"First the negative: at first I wanted to put on a star, but oh well. Unfortunately, almost every other table was suggested a test dish from the kitchen. Unfortunately our table was ignored, we would have liked to have tried it, especially if it's the first time you've been able to enjoy such an event. On the positive side: the first time as a couple in a star restaurant. It was a great experience and ended up being cheaper than expected. The taste was exceptional. Try products that you can't eat anywhere else. The sauces are incredible, as is the craftsmanship. We'll be back, but only if we're not ignored next time when it comes to a kitchen creation :-D Thank you for the lovely evening."

Enter for an evening into the hands of the star chef Andre Tinelt and a sommelier, just enjoy, be delightful about the taste experiences and let five be straight, this was our “todo” plan for our Black Forest short trip. Again and again we look at the homepage until we finally found the perfect arrangement from the Hotel Ritter. An overnight stay, 36 hours of wellness, champagne breakfast and in the evening culinary enjoy from the “regional of here” star kitchens menu, 3 courses plus up to four intermediates for 139 euros per person. We booked for the last Friday. Located between Oberkirch and Offenburg in southern Ortau, Hotel Ritter has its more than 350 year-old certified gastronomy tradi...

The gastronomy at the Hotel Ritter zu Durbach has a culinary past of a high level and promises (both itself and the guests) to be on the way back to the starry sky through gestures and wording. In our current experience, Michelin's constellation alone is in another galaxy and, similar to Mr. Musk's recent attempts to get closer to his stars, we realized after our visit that excellent cuisine is not rocket physics, but more often than you think It's magic (not to be confused with similar-sounding seasoning sauces). In the knight's dining room, guests can expect some cryptically described side dishes on bare wooden tables, served by a service that can certainly be considered middle-of-the-road...

Signature menu very tasty and unusual, especially the celery and the short rib. Wines from the open menu are very good, you can save yourself the wine accompaniment. There is a huge lack of service, station waiters are overwhelmed and have little idea about working in a gourmet restaurant. Unfortunately there was no main course cutlery on the main slope, which was not set at the handle. For the small portions we only serve starter cutlery , but we ate the second starter with main course cutlery. When we took a short smoking break after the main course, our entire table was cleared away. So communication is a bit difficult obviously. As an apology, an espresso and wine were offered on the hou...
