We decided to give this restaurant a try for something different from our usual takeout. We were quite satisfied overall. The hot and sour soup was delicious. The chow mein was flavorful, but could use more meat. The BBQ ribs were perfectly cooked and my wife really enjoyed them. The crispy chili beef was decent, but lacked the taste of the meat and could be cut a bit thicker. The chips were good as well.
Maks is fantastic! While it may not be traditional restaurant fare, the quality is still excellent, and the portions are generous! Their special chow mein typically lasts me for two meals. The fish and chips are among the best I've had, rivaling any place in Nuneaton. Plus, the service is pleasant and quick.
This is a charming Chinese restaurant located in Nuneaton. The spacious, tidy establishment features clean facilities and friendly staff. The meals are absolutely delicious. I always order takeout from this place, the woman there is very friendly and always has a smile on her face. The food has never disappointed us in the 30 years that we've been customers. Lovely, friendly family run restaurant and delicious food. It's a lifesaver too, since they offer both a traditional chip shop selection which means more choice. I've tried a bunch of takeaway restaurants since I've moved here and this is the only Chinese takeaway I'll use now.
I absolutely adore the staff and the consistently delicious food at this restaurant. I have been coming here regularly for a year since I moved to the area. They are open most weekends and offer the convenience of phone ordering for pickup if you are too busy to dine in.
I've been using maks since I met my husband 11 years ago, Mrs Mak is always so cheery and friendly,the food is always delicious and never greasy like other Chinese food I've eaten. Definetely my go to place for a Chinese take away
