We ordered prawn pathia, thinking it would be sweet and sour based on the online menu description, but it turned out to be way too spicy. The rice was overcooked as well. While the other dishes weren't terrible, considering there are other places with better prices, we're not sure if we would order from here again. Our order also took an extra 28 minutes to arrive, and the delivery driver didn't apologize for the delay, which seemed to be the norm for how they treat customers. This restaurant has a lot of room for improvement.

This used to be the best in Bedford. We have been regular for years. Yesterday’s was late, cold, incomplete, terrible quality, none of the usual dishes we ordered looked, smelled or tasted the same. Sorry to say it was so different from their usual standard, that it couldn’t be a one-off, bad day. Telephoned the order in (as we are old school) was told the price, but it was then delivered by ‘just eat’ at an inflated price????? Would definitely not recommend.

Fast delivery, excellent pilau rice, disappointing chicken Madras. The chicken was not very fresh, and much of it was dry and stringy. The heat of the Madras was lacking, and this was the mildest I have ever had. Malabar added extra onions, as requested. Consistency of the sauce was good. Overall, a disappointing experience, never to be repeated.

Received a Menu through the letterbox today so rang restaurant to see what meat is served and told it is Halal. I wonder if people know, or even care, that the animals are slaughtered in this manner. Many would not wish to have it. I enquired about the prawns and was told they were killed the same way do prawns have a throat ?
