My favorite noodle house outside of NY/NJ. Been going here for decades, ever since the Malan on Garfield closed down. Some of the best, qq (chewy) -iest hand-pulled noodles, especially their triangle noodles, and their soups and chow mein flavors are mild and delicious when I'm not in the mood for the heat bomb at Rockstar/Even Life, my other staple favorite noodle place.Their chung yao bang (green onion/scallion pancakes) are good too but I'd rather get the ones at Even Life tbh. Stick to the noodles. My favorites are the triangle with the beef soup and the thick round in the pork chow mein. I save my belt noodle stomach for EL so can't say how the wide flat noodles are here. Finally, I adore...

Great place for dining. However, their prices have gone up considerably over the years. For example, a plastic (not ceramic) can of Beijing yogurt costs over $4.00 is definitely overrated! Also, service speed is somewhat slow too although they make the noodles where we can see the process.
We ordered the Malan beef noodles and the shrimp, chicken, and beef chow mein. Unfortunately, both dishes were quite disappointing and lacking in flavor. The portions were small, and there was no wok hei or any good seasoning to speak of. They certainly weren't worth the $16-17 price tag.
The beef ramen I was looking for was nothing like the noodles you find in supermarkets. I even had the audacity to inquire about the option of wider and thinner noodles. Do you have a ramen noodle maker? The flavor was also very disappointing. Book a table now
The taste is average, the portion is very small, and the key is that they are expensive. Don’t order any of the cold dishes in the store, they are too little!
The beef soup lacked flavor and had an unpleasant smell. The chow mein was an improvement, but it still wasn't very good.
Their scallion pancakes are some of the best I've ever had! They are crispy yet chewy, and incredibly flavorful.
The menu is limited, the prices are high, and the noodles aren't freshly made. I'm really disappointed. Book a table now
Sent no sauce and was very bland. Noodles not very good and only sent one packet of chop sticks
