If you are considering this restaurant please read the last few months of reviews. I wish we had before we went. This place is truly a let down this is not authentic Indian food it's a poor imitation which was around 20 plus years ago...that is thankfully not prevalent any more. Every dish is bland and basically the same base sauce with a variation of meat or veg added at the last minute. The biryani is boiled rice with chicken added to it the paneer mirch are in essence Jalapeno poppers which are drenched in sauce but you pay 7 pound for three tiny pieces. We raised this at the time as all the food was left untouched and the response what do you want me to do I just work here The service to...

so was a regular for a good 10 years, though for a 2 year break due to covid, I booked for the Sunday buffet. all new employees (not sure whether the main restaurant is new owned) who are obviously not trained in the service....Book the table by phone, the immediate answer was that they were closed by 2 clock not very inviting. the restaurant was empty walk from a table of 3 and a large employee family meeting. when entering the staff was around the floor and did not sit down or greet us. the food was ok, but the self-service buffet offer has remained unchanged for years, so I am bored. but to get big delays with us a drink, I always had to ask for a glass of water (they wouldn't leave the c...

As someone who has spent a lot of time in India, West Bengal, Sri Lanka, etc., I found this meal to be the worst example of Anglicized cuisine pretending to be top-notch Indian food. It felt like the dishes were all just variations of the same sauce - red, brown, and beige with added flavors depending on the dish. The fish was overcooked to the point of being mushy. I would recommend driving 30 minutes to Southall for a more authentic dining experience. The service was mediocre and the prices were high for the quality of food. It is baffling to me how Heston Blumenthal, Ben K...

I wanted to visit some special place, but was disappointed. the service was not particularly good, eating is nothing special than other Indian restaurants frequently visited and overpriced. to complete it, two people in our party dogy tümmies had the following. will not be visited again, there are many other places to try.
