I went for the empanadas because I like them a lot and I wanted to see how good they were there, since I had read about the place, however I arrived around 5:40 and there were very few baked empanadas left and they told me they could only prepare fried ones. Inside is seating for 20, a soda fountain and a small drink fridge with about 10 options. Empanada are $6 but double the size you'll find elsewhere. I got the chicharrones de cerdo bowl. Served piping hot and fresh, the pork wasn't hard but had great flavor and chew. The sauteed red onions were a nice touch on top of a bed of fluffy white rice and iconic black beans. I ordered this meal from Doordash and was very pleased with the great food. I will definitely be returning again. The delivery service was excellent and the meal was perfect for lunch. The price per person was between $20-30. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

Mama Ana's offers the most amazing empanadas I've ever had, and they never disappoint! There are countless delicious varieties to pick from, but my top choices are the Pico de Pollo and Pastelón de Plátano. I strongly recommend giving them a try!
The empanadas were enormous! The portion of fried plantains (tostones) was generous enough to share. The chicken cheese empanada was a bit too cheesy for my taste, but it was still delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

The beef empanada was quite greasy and stuck to the wax paper, so I chose not to eat it. However, the Cuban sandwich and fries were fantastic, as always.
