The food here is excellent, but the service leaves something to be desired. My favorite dish is the Conchinita Pibil Plate, but the seafood options and the four-taco plate are also outstanding. I love the unique flavors of the slow-cooked pork, enhanced by the distinct tastes of annatto seeds, banana leaves, and orange. This was my first experience with this dish, and I looked into making it at home — but it’s quite a challenge involving over 24 hours and an underground oven filled with hot stones. So, definitely enjoy this dish here! The sticky coconut rice and the slaw made from radish, mango, and cucumber create a perfect balance of warm and soft, salty and cold, plus crunchy and sweet. T...

Their fish tacos are some of the best I have ever had. They are grilled not deep fried. They use red snapper when most places use either cod or tilapia. The way they cooked it was perfect and melt in your mouth and you get four nice small tacos and they use this really nice I think it's like a Chipotle aioli but it's really mild with tasty flavor. They have red rice which is really nice or you can sub for coconut rice which is to die for but beware it does have dairy in it. My friend had the pork shoulder which is the cochinita and it was really good too you could definitely turn it into tacos as well. The servers were awesome and very kind. I've been there twice now and the food is always g...
After about 10 minutes of waiting for someone to take our order, we went back inside to ask if our waitress was coming, as we were hungry. Our waitress finally emerged to take our order. The food arrived quickly, but she didn't check on us afterward and only came back when our food and drinks were ready. Once we finished our meals, we waited another 10 minutes before we decided to go inside again to ask for the bill since we were ready to leave. Overall, while the food was delicious, the service greatly detracted from the dining experience. I would recommend opting for takeout instead. It's a great location with fantastic food, and it has the potential for a lovely dining experience, but wi...
I had a fantastic experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They assisted us in selecting our dinner, and while I have my personal favorites, I always appreciate hearing their recommendations. We opted for one of their suggested starters and asked a few questions about the dishes, which they were happy to answer. Everything, from the drinks to the desserts, was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fish tacos, which are always one of my go-to choices, and the churros were both delightful and unique. We also tried a pitcher of mango margarita, which was well-crafted and very enjoyable! Book a table now
I've tried this place several times before. Service was friendly.I've enjoyed dishes such as the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo, Camarones a la Diabla Plate and Carne Asada. Margaritas where also good. I would rate them a 4/5.However, today, the Tamales and the Tortilla soup today were only ok. The tamales lacked flavor and it was as if it was drenched in too much verde sauce and sour cream. It was not bad, but it was not good either.Willing to try another plate, maybe the Cochinita Pibil Plate.
A step up from a traditional taqueria, with a vibrant outdoor eating area next to the park. Great for casual dining and catching the downtown vibe. Family-friendly, kid's menu, vegetarian options, accessible.
The service is wonderfully warm and friendly, and the Mexican dishes are truly authentic. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, the overall experience is well worth it.
Decent Mexican spot in downtown San Carlos. Ordered the flautas with beef and they were surprisingly good. Margaritas were good also. Service is on the slower side. Book a table now
I ordered the burrito Chile relleno. It was just okay for me. It might be ideal for someone who enjoys simple food, but I found it a bit too plain.
Food is very good. Cozy place friendly stuff. Adorable prices. Highly recommend for seafood lovers.

"Family meal chicken is plenty of food but their kebab and shwarma are tastier. Hummus and falafel were tasty as usual."
