Hidden Gem of an Oasis we discovered on our U.P. waterfall tour. Stopped by today on a 80° day for some original Wisconsin ice cream. They have both original scoop and soft serve. High quality facility, clen well run and incredible views of the U.P. countryside. Loved the corn crib gazebo and beautiful flowers. Met the owner Janna who was so friendly and proud of her little slice of heaven. Drive the extra 2 miles past the turn to pictured rocks and enjoy Mama Moo's Ice Cream Shop!!
There were 2 vegan ice cream (or maybe sherbert? options, a carrot mango and I believe lemon raspberry. I got the carrot mango. Tasted like mango, definitely recommend. Nice to have vegan options outside of the bigger cities in the UP. A little out of the way but very good and close to some nice waterfalls. Awesome small town ice cream spot we stumbled upon on our drive home from the upper peninsula! So glad we decided to stop but who can say no to ice cream in the summer? So many flavors to choose from and can customize basically everything! We enjoyed some amazing ice cream while we over looked a beautiful field out back.
Amazing!!! We have tried all different ice cream shops in the area and Mama Cows is by far the best. There are tons of different flavors. The workers were very friendly and let us try all kinds of samples! They even gave us a free pup cup : . There are couches outside as well as a connect four setup and corn hole. Book a table now
Ice cream worth driving the 17 miles from Munising, MI for. Where a double is still 1 scooped filled cone and 2 scoops above your cone (3 scoops). They are fast, friend and of course Delicious. A family of 4 can easily spend under $20 for a treat, including a tip.
Cash or check only! Delicious ice cream with a lot of different flavors to select from. Went there with a large group and they were able to handle us without difficulty. Will be stopping here in the future for sure.
Come sit in the gazebo or chill in the Adirondack chairs out back. Ice cream was tasty and the portions are more than enough. Lots of fun flavors and easy to park.
