So I’ve been here a couple times but the service is HORRENDOUS. The only reason why I’ve come back is because the food isn’t too bad.One visit a friend got the Grilled Lamb starter and it was only TWO sticks of meat for just under £5. Luckily she said they were good. The first two times I’ve been the lady at reception somehow didn’t understand I’m lactose intolerant as I mentioned it just in case there is any sign of dairy. This took about five minutes to explain, along with the fact that I don’t eat meat. Then the third time I’ve been I went to pay with my card and the (from what I’m assume) owner refused to take my card payment as it was under £10. I went on to explain that the lady has ta...

We had a terrible experience at Mama Thai when we ordered a takeaway from them. My prawn Panang curry was only a quarter full with hardly any sauce, while my boyfriend's red curry was a great portion. When we called the restaurant to complain, the waitress was rude and unhelpful. When we went in person to show them the portion size, the owner proceeded to racially abuse my boyfriend, saying our mixed-race relationship was privileged and disgusting. This sparked a heated argument and we left feeling upset and frustrated. The owner eventually apologized, but the whole experience ruined our dinner and evening. It's unacceptable to be treated this way, and the owner should be ashamed of his beha...
The food used to be pretty good and prices quite reasonable. But my last visit was pretty grim: waited ages for the order (even went out for a sandwich in Morrison's to stave off hunger but it turned out that they assumed we wanted to take away so the food was sitting on their counter for 30 minutes and no one told us. My friend eventually worked all this out, but I had long since given up and got something from the chinese buffet a few doors down before going home. Owner/manager didn't seem too fussed about any of this(?
I will never return to this restaurant where the staff is extremely rude as well as the quality of food is low-level. The appetizers were served after 20 minutes and 1 was also wrong with the request. Also they are not clear about the alcoholic beverage policy: they do not need it and you are told that you can bring them but then charge a pound per person for this service. Also the portions are tiny and therefore the prices exaggerated. Book a table now
I used to frequent this restaurant often when I lived nearby. I always praised the place for its authentic and delicious food. However, on a recent visit, we brought our own wine and beer from the supermarket, which cost us £7. When we received our bill at MamiThai, they had charged us £4 for the wine and £2 for the beer as a BYOB fee. I was not pleased with having to pay for these items twice.
We ordered takeout from Deliveroo. The food quality was subpar and the portions were only halfway filled. When we called the restaurant to inform them, the person we spoke to was extremely rude and hung up on us not once, but twice. Overall, a terrible experience. Avoid at all costs!
that's next door where we thought I'd give it in. no aircon was just big fans still hot. I ordered the papaya salad with fries fish bites was really nice and then the garnelen pad thai. the only thing it took long to get the first dish. I'm sorry that no photo is

the food was definitiw fresh and you could hear an invigorated kitchen in the back. the freshly chopped coriander, ingwer and sellerie in the spicy Jumbo puzzles I ordered was simply wonderful.
This was the first and last time I wasted my money in this place.
