We’ve been here frequently over the years. What we love is the comfortable layout and the feeling of not being rushed. Definitely different to most Vietnamese joints. Help yourself to hot tea and water with mint or lemon. The condiments such as lemon, mint, fresh cut chillis, sweet chilli, hoisin, fish sauce and nuoc cham are near the counter and you grab what you need as well. We normally order the bun cha (cold white noodle salad with spring rolls and meat). The mi kho (egg noodles with pork, prawns etc) is okay, it can be quite variable depending on whether the prawn fritter on top was just cooked or not. Service is fast, you can tell the toppings are precooked so it’s a luck of the draw...
many rooms for children, casual dining area suitable to bring children. eating is great, the salad options are very delicious. it was hard to find something for my baby to eat from the menu, but reis and huh made the trick for the small child. High chairs are present, and they also had toilets in the restaurant that is always practical when it comes to small people. we parked in the shopping center claremont parking lot, as much parking there as we went there, they had a poster that her crispy bun (what was not the wing, was something else), the poster had about 4-5 chickens on the teller, but when we ordered it, we only got 1! Not usually write a review but need one for this restaurant I ve been here couples times and the food was good and very fast to come out even they re busy but recently I came back on Monday and the food take very slow to come out even I can see they weren’t busy .. Located in posh end of Perth this outlet of Mama Tran has a nice ambience. You need to order and pay in the counter and everything including the mint and condiment are self service Ordered their Pho Dac biet and Mi Kho which is egg noodle with braised pork and mince pork with prawn. The pho Dac biet which is their signature dish is indeed very tasty. The stock is perfect and the meat ball is very fresh The Mi Kho is not as good as it sounds. First of all it's too sweet and secondly can't really taste the prawn. It's more like veggie tempura. Overall it's a nice experience and would recommend this place to friends and family.
Poor poor poor! We came in and asked if they were still open...yes, we close in half an hour. We quickly went to the counter to order. We were waiting for about 5 mins to be served. This is an open kitchen, you can definitely see the workers and vice versa. Why say to us if your open and not serve us. Say that the kitchen is closed, we would be happy with that. The worst service I've had at any restaurant! The restaurant was clean n looked inviting though. Theres is an older lady who needs to check her make up, sorry but my daughter was abit scared.
more practical place for a quick lunch on the way. I had the black battle mi. the pig was tasteful and very lean. the roll itself was of beautiful quality, but that is where the positive end. I wouldn't buy it again. my friend had the rabbit-tit-nuong, which was much more beautiful with the same delicious pork. it also contained nice fritteser, which was a nice additional note also.
Handy spot for a quick lunch on the go. I had the pork banh mi. The pork was flavoursome and very lean. The roll itself was of nice quality but that’s where the positives end. I wouldn’t purchase this again.My boyfriend had the bun thit nuong which was far nicer with the same tasty pork. It also contained vegetable fritters which was a nice added touch also.

this place is always busy, but eating is really fast served. I usually go for rice Vermicelli salads and this time I went for the grilled pork and early roll. very filling and delicious
Bahn Mi was really nice not your usual pork belly, but pork slices. Still good flavour though! Very fresh ingredients and loved the flavours. Will be back.
