The food here is consistently very good. Pizzas are excellent and so are the mains. The restaurant has been very tastefully refurbished. The service is always good. We come here quite often and are never disappointed...until our last visit. It is never appropriate for a manager/owner to berate staff in earshot of customers. WE were excited to be dining with friends whilst visiting from Melbourne... menu choices enticing, and food was delicious when finally arrived(a bit of a wait but excusable for busy Sat night). The food is always good and the veal Barone was no exception. We were three, and my dining partners shared a pizza and pasta dish which meet expectation.When paying the bill I attempted to pay for my bill separately and was immediately adivsed that the bill could not be split (ok I accept that). However, and with NO comment from me, the Manager/owner then went on and on in a loud and very argumentative attitude about not permitting split bills. I did not respond to his tirade expect to say that his attitude was not necessary and that we would not be returning to his restaurant.
This place is constantly buzzing. Always full. Haven't had a sit down meal here but it would definitely be nice. Staff are efficient. Love the pizza here. They have pasta and salads. I got fried calamari once, perhaps taking anything deep fried home, even though just meters away may not be such a good idea.

She is still talking about her night. Pasta was so nice. Hard to please 19 year old loved his gnocchi. Salad was fresh and delicious. Pizzas were so tasty. Two lasses waiting table were lovely. We had a fabulous evening and will be back.
my partner wanted Italian for date night ... booked for 8pm and was very enjoyable pizza pasta and salad bottle of wine , service all amazingly great with a full resturant, it all ran well . will go again
Got some take away pizza for dinner - was told was going to be 45minute wait which was a bit much then when we received it they were bland with hardly any topping on them. Won't go back! Sorry
Decent meals, a bit expensive but not too much, not big enough as the small tables and spaces to move around are really small but again for a local restaurant is good
