I have been to Mamma Mia Margate about a dozen times and it truly is the best pizza you will ever eat. I travel a 140 mile round-trip to get this pizza and it is so worth it. I have eaten pizzas in London, New York, Chicago and all over Italy and nothing even comes close to Mamma Mia. I cannot recommend this place enough. The venue is perfect too...what a wonderful place. If you like pizza then head to Margate and you will not be disappointed. He also makes amazing pasta and the dough balls are the best thing you will ever eat. A masterclass in how to make Italian food.
This restaurant serves amazing, fresh, and quick pizzas. I have been a customer since they first opened. The pizza dough is freshly rolled in front of you. The toppings are simple but delicious, and the owner knows how to pair them well. Today, we tried the spinach, pastrami, and mozzarella pizza which was seasoned perfectly. This place is affordable, convenient, and an excellent choice for pizza.
Excellent pizza and dough balls salad and highly recommended. We were a bit disappointed with the wait. It took 45min for the pizza to be ready as there were many deliveroo orders before us and we were not aware of them when we ordered. I would not rate it less than 5 stars though as the food was excellent. But check how long is the wait before you order your pizza.
Carmine just makes the most tasty, well cooked pizzas in Thanet if not the world! We always experience great joy and contentment devouring them. He’s such a charming Italian gentleman. I am not normally a fan of pizza but this was exceptional. It's in a converted indoor market in a hawker style with various shops around a central seating eating area. Opposite the Turner Centre. The vegetarian pizza was freshly made and was simply superb. We followed it up with coffee and ice cream from other small shops in the centre.
Pizza is hands down best pizza around . Quality is assured . And to the lady who said it was to sloppy . Clearly you don't know what proper Italian pizza is meant to be like . Local review exspert haha. Think you would prefer pizza hut for your un accommodating palet
The restaurant in the eastern part of Italy had a very friendly waiter who was quite busy but still managed to provide excellent service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations for the electrical system.
Amazing service and really lovely pizza. We ordered take away via Deliveroo, which has its’ limitations and the order wasn’t quite right but the owner rectified it graciously and speedily. The dough balls are to die for!!
