I drove an hour and a quarter to try the Hainanese chicken rice, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The chicken was tender and juicy, while the rice was full of flavor, cooked in chicken broth and not greasy at all. The chicken soup was also delicious. We ordered the meal for 2-3 people, which included two soups, two rice servings, a peanut appetizer, a spicy cucumber appetizer, and half a chicken (with dark meat). Additionally, we got salt and pepper wings and a garlic Taiwanese lettuce dish on the side. I'm really glad we made the trip today!
This place is a hit or a miss. When they get things done right the chicken, rice and veggies here are quite good but when they don't it can be quite Shabby or average. They don't follow orders here though too well. The veggies sometimes have too much garlic in them but if you ask for half garlic you get 3 pieces on the inside instead. I had dig and look inside to find the actual 3 pieces. 4 star place when done right and 2.5 stars when Chef is not Consistent.
It's 9/30/2020 today. The restaurant is open for pick up only, no dine-in or outdoor option. This is the original Cluck2go location and the foods taste much better than the other locations. I'm ordering for a family of 4 and should have order the combo B. Plenty of tasty chicken in their hainan chicken rice (got to order the dark meat! , the curry chicken is spicy just enough for me.
Great place to go for Hainan chicken. It's my new favorite place. I used to go to Savoy but not anymore. Good portions and they give you soup. Staff was friendly enough for a Chinese place. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. Ginger sauce has a lot more Ginger other places. A must try if you like Hainan chicken rice!

So good. So juicy! The chicken that is... I got the dark meat so I can’t confirm if the white meat is juicy or not. Service is decent. They returned to refill our waters pretty consistently in the beginning and made sure we enjoyed our meals. The chicken with scallions was ok but I prefer the original the best.
The chicken rice here is excellent. The rice is packed with flavor, and the boneless chicken is a big advantage. Both dark meat and white meat are available at the same price. I also really enjoy the sauces that accompany the chicken rice, especially the sweet soy sauce, which adds a unique flavor to the dish.
I ordered a to-go meal that included half a chicken (dark meat) and rice. The chicken was moist and of good quality. The two sauces that came with it were also quite satisfactory. Overall, it's nice Hainan chicken, though not the best I've ever had.
Love getting their hai nan chicken with white rice. Both their red and green ginger sauce and very yummy on the chicken. Try their wintermelon tea it is very refreshing and not overly sweet.
