After walking past several kebab shops and supermarkets on my way back to the hotel, I noticed a Chinese takeaway across the road. The staff were eating at the counter, and I decided to order a small portion of Special Fried Rice. I later realized that I should have asked what made it so special. The rice was plain and lacked flavor, with only a few small prawns or bits of meat scattered throughout. Compared to the amazing takeout options in the area, this place was disappointing.
Man Hong has been a staple in my family. My Grandad used to take my mum there, and it's been passed down through the family. From the always welcoming and friendly staff, to the excellent quality and generous portions. The Chili beef is unlike anywhere else, and is superb. Highly recommend this takeaway, it's not as expensive as others, and I can't remember an occasion where the quality of the food has been a let down.
We tried this restaurant for the first time last week. They offer free delivery within a certain radius, but we chose to visit the restaurant before placing our order. We were pleasantly surprised to find clean premises, friendly staff, and delicious food at a reasonable price. We highly recommend this restaurant.
I am back again to share another review. The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. They are always prompt with fulfilling phone orders for pickup. The staff were rude and dishonest. Shortchanged me thinking I hadn't realised and the woman serving me generally had a cold, aggressive nature about her Would not recommend to any new customers, try one of the many other Chinese takeaways in the area.
Dont order from them if you are a veggie. Made a mistake twice with meat in my mushroom chowmen. Phoned to speak to them. She was rude and blame us and then saying she will speak to chef. No replacement. No refund. No sorry. Not using them again.
Normally sooner than quoted and the food is reasonable. Mostly whats ordered with the odd mishap but never dissapointed when the mistakes has been rectified and a great service ALWAYS.
