Some of the best food and best people you will ever find! When we lived in California we would go all the time, this is the best Chinese food that we have experienced in any state! The owners are frequently there and they too are very good people. Even though we no longer live in California, we go back frequently and immediately had back to experience the great food and people. Mandarin King has been around forever and they do a great job. They have a large menu, but honestly, everything is tasty. My spouse and I have been going there for years and it’s consistently good. I’m a big fan of the sizzling rice soup, the house special chicken, fried rice and lo mein. Great for takeout, but if you have a chance to dine in it’s really cozy and they take good care of you.
The restaurant is clean and cozy with generous lunch portions. I highly suggest trying the Beijing Beef. The owners are kind and went out of their way to explain the menu. However, the fortune cookies were stale and disappointing. I hope they improve the quality of their cookies as my kids always enjoy them.
The Chinese food at this restaurant is average, and the service is not very attentive or friendly. It might be fine for take-out, but we will continue our search for a better Chinese restaurant in Laguna Beach. Book a table now

The food was tasty and the service was provided by friendly and attentive staff who were even willing to joke around with customers. The prices were also very reasonable.
Whenever I am in the vicinity, I always order from this restaurant. Their won ton soup is the best, especially when you're feeling under the weather.
