The older man who sat us was extremely rude, I’m hard of hearing and my Mother is blind. She asked a question about the lunch specials because she can’t see and he snapped at her and slapped the menu saying lunch specials here. I tried to ask him a question about something on the menu I couldn’t hear what he replied but I’m sure it was just as rude because he turned his back on us. Some Chinese restaurants tend to load their honey walnut shrimp with too much creamy sauce, while others, like Panda Express, offer a stickier sauce with walnuts, which I prefer. As for the lo mein noodles, they were flavorful. My mom liked them even more than I did and has ordered them a few times since. She often cooks shrimp at home and adds her own sauce. The portion of noodles was generous, served with beef, shrimp, and chicken. I enjoyed the beef and shrimp but wasn't a fan of the chicken, so I'd prefer to skip it next time.

I came to this store around 6 o'clock on a Monday evening. There were not many people in the store and I didn't have to wait. When I entered the store, I immediately felt it had a sense of age. The waiter was very enthusiastic and led me to my seat. The menu and tea were served quickly. On the menu Some say it opened in 1984. I ordered Mapo Tofu and Teppanyaki Sanxian. First of all, Mapo Tofu is amazingly delicious and tastes very authentic, with the green peppercorn flavor that I tasted in Chongqing. The three fresh iron plates are very delicious. However, the service was lacking. Our server wasn’t very attentive, and I found myself needing to track him down to order additional dishes and to ask for the check. This lack of attentiveness affected the overall dining experience.
On the positive side, the food was quite satisfactory. The flavors were enjoyable, and the portions were generous. I appreciated the diverse menu and found everything we tried to be flavorful.
In summary, while my experience at Mandarin Taste was decent, there is definitely room for improvement regarding the service. I might consider giving this restaurant another try in the future, hoping for a better experience.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a graduation celebration, and I must say, it completely amazed me. I enjoyed the food so much that I returned to order for all my coworkers. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Don't miss out on this gem!
Delicious food! This was our first time here and if we're back in the area we will definitely come back. Authentic Chinese food served family-style. The waiter was also excellent.
This was our favorite restaurant when we lived in Diamond Bar, and we still make a point to visit whenever we're in the area. We absolutely love it!

Grew up getting take out from this place. Can't go wrong with Mongolian beef and lo mein. Wonton soup is tasty.
