35 years 3 4 visits per year over 100 KM distance). The culinary offer is always very satisfying. On 22.10.13 visit again. Note at the entrance: break until 17.30 and entrance around the corner. Not yet open, no problem, we wait a little. But a problem because we bridge the waiting time for the occupancy. That called the owner on the plan. Opening would only be acceptable from 6 p.m., but no longer its groundless verbal outbursts. This was not a more polite compensation, but is still underestimated as a complete outcast. This is an individual experience, otherwise the so-called reviews can be accepted.
Location on the outskirts of Neustadt, about 10 minutes walk to the center fantastic landscape! Beautiful, very large rooms, very clean. Beautiful ambience, especially the outdoor terrace a dream! The whole house is artistically dressed with works by the owner, very harmonious and lovingly presented. The owner pair is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very appealing, but all fresh and top. Come back and look forward to it. Conclusion: Very positively different, but you feel at home! (good hotel guests, no restaurant visit)
I am often a guest at the Mandelhof, excellent cuisine inspiring environment and very good service. Particularly recommended: Potpourri of the noble fish, with a dry Pinot Blanc and then the hospitality of the Starmans family..
For the repeated time we could enjoy the ingenious and extraordinary superpower of the kitchen with friends. This in a beautiful ambience with a very good service! We will be regular guests despite distance!
