The service wasn't good at all for me. I didn't care for the fried fish because it was marinated in mustard. I tasted the fish, and asked the waitress if I could have something else(my entire plate had the same amount of fish on it when I gave it back tothem). She had an attitude, came bk to my table with a tiny plate and told me to put the fish on it. Which I told her she couldhave the plate the fish came out to me on. I felt like she did that because they thought I was complaining to get more food.Nonsense, I'm not gonna pay for food or eat food that I don't like. I'm sure they threw it in the trash which was fine with me.It was the idea that they thought I wanted the fish and my new item....
Was really looking forward to this place after hearing friends? recommendations and seeing reviews. Had the seafood roll app and then the crab cakes as an entree. Just underwhelmed. For the price, the crab cakes were just meh. Not worth $27. The waitresswas very nice but I was shocked that 6 guests merited an automatic 20% tip. Not sure I would have left that. Not sure if I?d goback after $150 for four people when there are so many other choices in Lafayette.
Cute little restaurant with killer food. We had the queso (with real homemade chips), seafood eggrolls, ragin Cajun burger, and the flat iron steak (which was so good I dug into it before I could take a decent pic). Everything was delicious, full offlavor and completely original. The service was unbeatable and the chef even came out to help people pick between one awesomedish and the next, offering samples. Great draft beer selection too! We'll be back!
Everything we had was wonderful, the owner shows passion in his cooking and it shows! His home made salad dressing is a pepper jelly balsamic vinaigrette that is over the top amazing! We will definitely stop here again as we travel through Lafayette!!What a nice guy!!
