MandP's - Table reservation

We recently decided to visit Merguez Pastrami for Sunday brunch which turned into a really disappointing experience. It had been recommended by a colleague. We were the first guests to arrive around 1130am and were given easily the worst table in the restaurant, right next to the door with a cold draft even with the door closed. The question whether there wasn't anything better was answered with the affirmation that all tables had been specifically requested and allocated accordingly. After some insistence the lady who was at reception and provided the subsequent table service gave us a better table, but at a price in service where no eye contact other than fleeting was made again. Brunch at a New York style deli? Why would I want to do that when I'm in Paris? Trust me, you definitely want to do that when you're in Paris. We had an amazing meal, full of vibrant flavours and perfect combinations. The two course brunch with both hot and cold drink included was fantastic value for money and service was lovely. As an added bonus, it's just 10 minutes walk from the Gate du Nord, so a perfect pit stop before jumping on a train.

read about this place on Davidlebovitz.com and he was spot on! It was delicious! the best pastrami ever! Kid friendly foods too. Try this place then go to Glaces Glazed for ice cream...

This place has the best pastrami. Lovely meat but the chef are not very inventive in their dishes. For this reason, go there for lunch and not dinner, or you will be disappointed.

A friend recommended this place for like hummus, merguez, and specialties like pastrami and bagels. This place is in walking distance of Gate du Nord, about 5-10 minutes.
