Mandrin - Table reservation

Had a GREAT lunch today at the Jardin D ' Asie. Andy B. is right- This place is huge! They have a dining area as you walk in the door to the right and left, a little hall way that opens up to another dining area in the back with a bar on the right. Then there is a beautiful staircase with foliage all the way up where there is another dining area. There are plants and flowers everywhere. While waiting on the food to come, you can try to figure out which is live and which is fake. (hard to do without touching it This place is pure class. Dark gray tile on the floor. Visited last night for the first time with a couple of friends, and was floored by the size and spaciousness of this restaurant. It 's HUGE, and unlike most of the restaurants in Grenoble there is actually space between the tables. You don 't feel like you 're sitting next to your mother in law at a big family Christmas dinner. Anyway... I digress... I can honestly say that I believe this is the best Asian restaurant in Grenoble. As with most of the other restaurants in Grenoble, the dishes are a mix of countries in this case Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese all somewhat customized for the French market. Great place great food and really nice atmosphere. I sat next to the fountain and it was so soothing and great! The waitress was super friendly and everything was awesome! I'll definitely come back to this place!

A nice French spin on Thai Chicken curry. Not as spicy as I like, but flavorful. If this is an indication of the whole menu, then I might be back on this trip!
