I recently discovered Mandro Teahouse with my friends after getting Thai food at Simply Thai next door, and it quickly became our favorite dessert place! Located in Newark, California, this teahouse is also known to have a Milpitas location, which we plan to check out soon. But for now, we are absolutely obsessed with their Mango Bing Sue, which has become our go-to treat. The Mango Bingsoo at Mandro Teahouse is simply amazing! It's creamy, refreshing, and the perfect balance of sweetness. The mangoes are always fresh, sweet, and perfectly ripe, and they generously pile them on top of the shaved ice. The portion size is generous, and the large is super filling, making it a satisfying dessert...

MandRo Teahouse is definitely my favorite bingsoo in the Bay Area my review will be solely based on the bingsoo as it was the only item I ordered. Their shaved milk ice is refreshing and tastes more creamy than most you can tell it isn 't just ice! The fruit toppings are fresh and I loved the mochi on top of the strawberry bingsoo we had.Pro Tip: I know the instagrammable way to pour the condensed milk is before you dig in, but all the milk will run off the sides if you do so. I recommend eating some of the bingsoo first, then pouring as you go so the taste is evenly distributed as you enjoy!Service is also fast and friendly, and I appreciate that it 's one of the few food spots that are ope...

I love bingsoo and haven't had it recently because my partner isn't a big fan of icy desserts. So when a friend suggested this place after we had lunch at Sizzling Lunch, I couldn't resist. It's situated in a plaza with plenty of parking. There are some tables available both outside and inside. The bathroom was clean and unisex. The service wasn't exceptional, but the mango bingsoo was delicious. My only complaint is that they should provide more pour-over milk as the small amount we received wasn't enough for the large bingsoo. Overall, I would definitely come back if I'm in the area. You can't go wrong with mangoes and ice.

Soooo delicious and light! The light, milk flavor is delicate and perfectly accompanied by the ripe mango we had on our mango bingsu. The dessert is very fluffy and soft. It literally melts gently in your mouth. Much easier on the teeth than traditional shaved ice! I look forward to coming back so I can try strawberry next. I wish there was a standalone matcha flavor without red bean, but I'll still try that one too. Very good unique dessert, highly recommend coming in with friends as a chill place to share a sweet treat. Book a table now

I ordered a bingsoo for dine in. There was minimal ambiance inside, and it was quite hot so I sat outside. The parking lot is a bit dirty, so overall the experience wasn 't great. Generally dessert is an event date opportunity so I prefer to go somewhere that 's a bit nicer and has a fun atmosphere. However the dessert was tasty. It wasn 't too sweet but could 've used more rice cake. There are other places in Fremont that serve bingsoo that I 'd want to try first before returning, but ultimately I 'd come back.

We ordered the mango bingsu in a regular size for $16. While the mangoes were tasty, they were thinly sliced and the ice itself was nothing remarkable. I did appreciate the bits of mango scattered throughout the ice, which added some extra flavor. The wait for our order was quite long, which was understandable given the time it takes to prepare bingsu, but still disappointing. Overall, I don't think the bingsu was worth the price and I probably wouldn't return to this restaurant in the future.

To be honest, this is the best Bingsoo I have ever had! It is even better than the one I tried in Koreatown in LA. The ice is incredibly soft and powdery. Each bite delivers a luxurious mouthfeel. The toppings are made with the freshest ingredients, elevating the decadent experience. Overall, I rate the food 5/5.

Very good place to go to for bingsoo shave ice during a hot summer afternoon! We tried their mango option, and can see they do use freshly peeled and hand cut mango slices in the bowl! The ice is so soft and melted in the month!Easy to find parking, big parking lot in the frontFood: 4/5 Book a table now

We wish this place has more locations. The bingsoo is very creamy and soft. Our favorite flavor is matcha red bean, and we always order the regular size. It is perfect portion for two people to share.
