1)nous avions réservé au tarif de 25 euros par personne (sans les boissons, certes !) Only place I think which disappointed us in our 5 day trip to Paris was this. Very unwelcoming. We were very tired by the end of the day of sight seeing, We ended up at this place, as almost all restaurants were fully packed, but this was empty, with not a single table occupied. We asked for a table for 3, as we had, my son of 12 year old travelling with us. They refused to respond in English or any of our queries. My son wanted to eat Pizza, so we asked them if they have pizza, they looked very offended and refused to even offer us the menu. They pointed us to Pizza Cesar near their hotel. We booked here in person, having failed to secure a table at the restaurant of our choice. The person who took the booking gave the impression she was doing us a great favour. On arrival, the welcome was warmer and we were impressed by the...wine list. Most tables had a reserved notice on them but there were only three couples in all night. My husband made the better choices with fish and terrine but I was disappointed in an artichoke salad with goats cheese croutons which was mainly lettuce followed by a veal dish which was, as someone else has noted, mainly pasta. One has to look in a realistic way at this delicious restaurant: prices, quality, service. The prices are very reasonable for the high quality of ingredients. The food is imaginative and the service pleasant and fast. Altogether what more one must expect? People complain. You...can 't have caviar for the price of herring eggs? Can you? I love the place. The Michelin gives it one plate . Do not forget, it seems Dutournier and Michelin have a very feud going on. Why? In the 70 's his Trou Gascon was the big Cheri of the Tout Paris, Michelin included.
