Having heard great things about the food and struggling to find another good indian restaurant in the area since Little India in Peckleton Closed, we ventured out to eat in at the Mango Tree. Fairly Quiet in the restaurant, but you could see plenty of take-aways heading out the door, a warm welcome and a cosy corner table, with popadoms and pickles and 2 pints of cobra quick to arrive and then left to it to look at the menus. We ordered 3 mains, 1 rice and 2 nans between to the 2 of us and with the portion sizes there really was no need, we could easily have left 1 of the mains and 1 nan in the kitchen. I used to order food from this restaurant every week, but I was frustrated with the long wait times. So, I decided to give them another chance last weekend. The food was delicious, but the delivery times were terrible. What's the point of scheduling a delivery time if you have to wait 40 minutes after that? And to make matters worse, we didn't receive enough rice for our order, even though we had ordered enough. When we asked for the missing rice, we were told to wait for it to arrive. The service was incredibly disappointing, and there wasn't even an apology from the driver. It's a shame because the food is great, but the delivery service always lets it down.
Located next to the canal, this curry house is connected to the Three Horse Shoes pub. Enjoy a few pints and order a curry for a winning combination! We docked near Bridge 58 past the marina entrance, walked along the canal, crossed the bridge, and headed up the hill on Station Road until we reached the pub on the left. The service was excellent, with a friendly team that had a great sense of humor. The food was delicious, bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The salad was crisp, the poppadoms were crunchy, and the garlic chili chicken was flavorful and tender. We ended up visiting twice in two days - a great little discovery!
We ate here during a canal holiday, it is a short walk from the mooring. Restaurant is situated to the rear of the Three Horse Shoes pub. They share the drinks offering with the pub. So I enjoyed a few pints of well kept Timothy Taylors Landlord with my meal. Staff are perfect, attentive but not over-bearing. The restaurant is modern, very well presented ventilated. We had a Korma a Balti, both excellent. I usually hate it when reviewers gush that it is the BEST curry they have ever had, but I would have to admit that I cannot remember tasting a Balti as good as this. Lovely flavours perfect strength. Nan bread was light fluffy. Prices are reasonable.

I was invited to a birthday meal here and what a wonderful surprise it was. The food was amazing, nothing was too much trouble ,,if you didn't like the look of the menu they would prepare a special meal for you, I had a sizzle of lamb plus prawns King it was delicious.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent - I would definitely recommend it. It was suggested to us and it did not disappoint. The prices are average, but not any higher than other places. It is definitely worth a visit.
Definitely one to visit if you are on the Ashby canal, only a short walk from the towpath hidden away behind a pub in the village of Stoke Golding. We were made very welcome, the menu is wide ranging and our food was excellent.
As ever the Mango Tree is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in this area . Raul makes you feel special , always remembering your individual tastes . Ali is the best front of house i have ever encountered.

Had a nice meal here. Service was a little slow as they were really busy with take away orders but we were ok waiting in between courses. Staff were polite. Food was tasty and would come back again.
Absolutely delicious and as always very friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning
