Ordered my food on postmates after seeing the restaurant multiple times. It’s open late which is great. I’m originally from Miami and the Caribbean food there is amazing so usually when I try Caribbean food in other cities it doesn’t live up to the true taste that I recognize to be Caribbean food. But this place was great. Jerk chicken not only had spice but flavor as well and the chicken was moist. The rice and peas were soft and the cabbage was great not too salty and not bland either, just right. The Mac and cheese looked a little hard to me at first glance but after eating a bite or two it was good it wasn’t dry and it has a good flavor. Overall, 10/10, great place to go. Will be my new...

Mangos…. How I wish I could give you a five star. This restaurant is downtown about a .6 mile walk from all the tourist spots (Aquarium, Coke, etc). The Caribbean food we had tonight was delicious, and the server who worked the front counter was excellent. The inside sadly is not up to the standards of the food and will be a turn off to many. The curry chicken plate with rice, plantains, and cabbage with carrots was delicious. The Mac and cheese side was generous and pretty good. The fried tilapia sandwich was really tasty. The beef and veggie patties were okay but they tasted like they had been in the case all day (we ate at dinner time).

The highlight of Mangos is undoubtedly the excellent food. The service was typical of a laid-back Caribbean restaurant. There was just one waitress handling both takeout and dine-in orders, but she informed us of the wait time when we placed our order, which helped us manage our expectations. The actual wait for service and food was reasonable and definitely worth it given the quality of the dishes. Mangos is clearly a new establishment, and I hope they attract more customers so they can expand and flourish. Auburn Avenue could really use this restaurant, and I plan to visit as frequently as possible.

Definitely going again the next time I'm in Atlanta. This will be my go too restaurant from now on. Bartenders n servers were friendly. Great music. Great island like atmosphere. Most of all FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL .. it was so good, I had to place a togo order for my travel back to Florida. I can't leave out the fact of how reasonable the cost of the food was. Only thing I can say is we waited a little longer than anticipated...but that's understood because it was crowded. I woyld, rate this place 8 stars.. that's how goid it was! Book a table now

We always go for the Deluxe Veggie plate with Brown Stew, and it never disappoints! While we wait for our food, we grab some drinks at the bar. We've been coming here for a long time, and every year it just gets better! We love going late at night when the cravings strike, and it's consistently delicious. The atmosphere is really relaxed, plus you can't beat Caribbean food and great music!

I ordered the Jerk Shrimp Pasta and 4 Rum Punch’s while my wife and I waited. We also ordered other sides like Macaroni and Cheese, Cabbage and Plantains but unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the sides. Overall 5 Stars. The Rum Punch played no games.

I ordered the brown stewed tofu, and it had a fishy smell. I thought I was imagining things until I actually found a fish bone in my gravy. I've been vegan for nine years, so this was incredibly disrespectful. I'm really disgusted.

We dined here for three consecutive days and loved every dish! The curry goat and oxtails were fantastic, as were the beans and cabbage. I’ll definitely eat here every time I visit Atlanta!
