It was my husband's birthday and anniversary special dinner so had made booking in advance. And really got good spot and staff service when we arrived.Everything was nice till half of the time when dinner was served.Eventually the service went down and had to remind and wait for 20 min to get simple tap water. It was quite surprising to get food quickly which needs preparation efforts and wait for water when restaurant wasn't too busy given that there was enough staff to look around and less people occupying the tables .After asking 3 different staff finally got the water which had food particles crushed sitting down at the jar so it did got served into our glasses unintentionally but would ha...

On our family holiday in Sydney, our river cruise dropped us off at the Wharf. While walking around, we chanced upon Manjits and decided to go for a light bite.I must start off by complimenting the service. It is outstanding and every member of the staff that we came across was pleasant and helpful. The decor is pretty nice and I preferred it to the functional decor of Zaaffran. The restaurant is clearly very popular as it was absolutely packed. We weren't too hungry so we tried out just a couple of starters. The Gol gol guppa was fairly decent. The Banjara tikka was a disappointment to be honest. The naans were fairly good,If I were to visit again, there are a few things on the menu that I'd li...
Location: outstanding, great seating inside and ambience is more fine dining with excellent lighting and decor.Service: Average, nothing too out of the ordinary here.Food: not typical burn your mouth/bum spicy fare, there is heat in the heat which is due to genuine spices and not chilli powder. We ordered the banquet which had a decent selection of entre's, fish was outstanding, the mains for dinner were above average, the breads average however it was the desserts which were outstanding unlike most Indian eateries.Due to the location and the way it is marketed the rates are rather high but no complaints.
Attended for a birthday dinner after a long afternoon at the boat show. No -one was aware of our (late) dimmi booking but that did not stop us securing a good outside table in what was an otherwise full (mainly Indian clientele) restaurant.Judging by the number of complimentary deserts (with a sparkler) there were a number of people having birthday dinners.Full marks to Saroja who really looked after us.I would like to come back and explore the menu some more, given there were only three of us on this occasion. I took my Indian visitor to this restaurant and we were impressed with not only the views but the food was so good. My Indian friend said it was the best Indian meal he has had in Australia and he couldn't stop talking about how good the food was all night. The service was excellent and the décor was all class. The food was presented on beautiful dinner ware as well .We had some Indian desserts that I cannot remember the names and they also were delicious. I will definitely visit again.
Great views-great staff-food had classic taste with clean presentation in beautiful room .Price was a little above average but worth it. Will definitely go again
Loved the malai kofta, mushroom starter, biryani..plus the ambience. The service is pretty good too with a lovely turban exit where we could get pics clicked

Lovely food. Friendly staff. Pricey but on the waterside so expected. Not the usual dishes, interesting menu. Check your bill though.
