this is definitely a jewel in a large part of a big city! first, the gm greeted us at the door and imagined; she was friendly and personal and considered where we wanted to sit and what kind of evening. we wanted. My hubby and I sat at the bar and let me tell you it's a great place to sit. barstools, they believe it or not, are somehow a big thing haha. they were very comfortable, and we had a great look at all their interesting bottles and we need to do some of the best barkeepers in toronto their stuff. the drink menu! you must the jasmine and take her on an old fashion. marvellous glass clothing, edible flowers and all! sitting on the bar, they see other mozens walking on their cute terra...
we go to the shopping center gerrard quite often. the neighbourhood is working class and semi-commercial/industrial. the maple leaf tavern was recommended by a good friend so that we decided to review it. we were dressed. it's a higher endpoint that is worth dressing a bit. the ambiente is nicely darker with very comfortable sitting. hostess was happy that we were there (COVID shutdowns and all.) server was pleasant and attentive. my wife had a gourmet cheeseburger (super) and I had the greatest risotto with truffles. search beautiful eating maple leaf tavern last night! we celebrated a birthday, so the tasting menu (which sometimes changes) and everything was wow. the menu is published in the pictures. Heather and team took care of us!
Back again to try the new menu and new chef . The Caesar was great , the extra slab of bacon an extra bonus . The burger was cooked perfectly , medium rare . The hostess and server provided 5 star service .
