On a brighter note, if you're looking for a great biscuit recipe, try this one for perfect homemade biscuits. They are soft, fluffy, and made completely from scratch, ready in just about 15 minutes! **Ingredients:** - 3 cups all-purpose flour - 3 tablespoons sugar - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 4 teaspoons baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar - 3/4 cup cold butter - 1 egg - 1 cup whole milk **Instructions:** 1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. The key to excellent biscuits is using very cold butter. If the butter warms up too much while making the dough, the biscuits won't turn out as good. Cut the butter into small pieces and keep it in the fridge until you're ready to mi...

This place is not run like it was pre-Covid. Expect to pay $11 for a biscuit with 1/2 the gravy they used to use, and then expect to pay an up charge to be given extra gravy. When you ask why they don’t serve with more you are met with the canned, “Every biscuit gets 3 oz of gravy” and the “We are a scratch kitchen” reply, which they are quick to explain means everything is made fresh. That also means that gravy is thrown out every afternoon when they close up. I was one of their loyal customers who was in there multiple times a week during Covid, but I am done with this place. There are better breakfast spots in Knoxville with better customer service.

Ordered the Bacon, egg, cheese biscuit sandwich with sausage gravy. It was delicious! The biscuit lover in me wished the biscuit was larger fluffier. The gravy was divine! The maple latte was quite tasty also. The ordering dining areas were welcoming I loved the decor. The restrooms... I don't advise using. I felt as if I had stepped out of the restaurant into a backroad service station facility. The baseboard was thick with dust, the walls had dried drippings, the toilet bowl was pink with scum. Great experience otherwise.

Really enjoyed my potato/egg bowl, and tried my girlfriend's chicken and waffles. Would love to come back to try more off the unique menu. Friendly service as well. Cute, modern look inside. It was a bit cold inside, although being soaked from the rain didn't help in that department. Prices aren't cheap, per se, but aren't going to break the bank either. They're fair for what you get. The flavors and textures were spot on and worth the money. I'll BRB. Book a table now

I absolutely adore Maple Street Biscuit Co., and I make it a point to visit them whenever I travel. Their sausage gravy is my favorite of all time, and I love that it has a bit of spice to it. The new smash browns are a fantastic addition to the menu. Today, we enjoyed outstanding customer service, which is usually what I experience at this place. I will definitely keep seeking out Maple Street in the future and can't wait to explore new locations!

The staff were fairly quick and efficient, but one of our drinks was forgotten. They quickly fixed the situation once we mentioned it to them. We both really enjoyed our food, but the coffee tasted kind of like it was watered, but they were training a new employee so maybe we just got the hiccups.I loved sitting on their patio and eating. It is very cute and clean inside as well.

Ate here with a friend yesterday and the food was delicious. The coffee was good as well. The restaurant is clean and the service was fast and super friendly. The bathrooms were clean. I'd surely eat here again! One thing to note... The chicken and the sausage gravy are a tad spicy. My husband didn't think it was but I did....just wanted to give a heads up.

Amazing food and staff! The way they call names for orders was a bit confusing at first...but once you understand it, it's pretty cool. Great combinations of flavors, and the biscuits are phenomenal!Food: 5/5 Book a table now

As for vegetarian options, that mushroom gravy is perfection. It's excellent for those of us who are vegetarian or have gastrointestinal issues with pork. This gravy is simply amazing!
