Mar Azul - Table reservation

Good service on a quiet Tuesday evening at 9 pm. I was initially pleased to find some dishes with palm hearts of palmitos in Spanish. However, my fish came in a sauce covered with large pieces of Surimi. Surimi is a cheaper white fish base and shaped into any convenient shape to imitate crabs, lobsters or other crustaceans and then add coloring and aroma, i.e. chemical additives. The waiter was aware that surimi was used and told me that it is called Palmito Spanish for palm heart in her restaurant! It didn't help the delicate favor of the fresh ones? Fish I ordered. I was shocked! Are there any other hidden surprises in their incorrect use of their native language or a Spanish dictionary? B...

My parents brought us to this place for lunch. My mother was temporarily disabled and they help us to give us a nice table with easy access. The waiter was quite attentive to take our order and the service took about 20 minutes to speak a good time with the family. Food was nice, we were all satisfied with our dishes. I liked the dessert in perfect balance, not too sweet. Is a special place for seafood lovers, is elegant, recommended for romantic dinner and business dinner.

Ambient is beautiful and cool; staff, polite and knowledgeable; Eating?...sorry, failed our expectations: the Paella, one of the specialties of the restaurant, was somewhat overcrowded. Nevertheless, we come back to try some of the other seafood dishes.

I visited MAR AZUL during the Eastern Week and I got surprice with the quality and flavor of this restaurant. The food was great and the service excellent as well. His owner Mr. Jose is a charming host. I recomend this place to anyone. Cheers mates!

I am from Manchester England the food, service and ambience was very good so I was again tommorow!!!!
